Peace River Seafood & Crab Shack is a pretty interesting place that began as an old Florida style home that was converted into a fish market, that was then converted into a full on seafood restaurant. They employ dozens of local fishermen that bring back fresh local catch every single day so you can be sure that the fish that you are eating are fresh, delicious, and never frozen. They even fillet their grouper right off the bone right then and there. The atmosphere at Peace River Seafood & Crab Shack is truly unlike any other restaurant, as it still has that old Florida home vibe, heck, even the bathrooms still have the original bath tubs inside of them. You can't get much more authentic than that. From extremely spicy chowders and gator gumbos to steamed clams, oysters, and cheeseburgers that will blow you away with how huge they are, as well as crispy fries, you will be more than pleased with their food menus. They also provide you with a great amount of beer with every order of beer you have.
